If you’re a fan of farmhouse style, whether you know it or not, you’re a fan of Rae Dunn. This artist’s work has lined the shelves of many popular home goods stores for years. Her work brings a warmth and simplicity that’s synonymous with the modern country home. Her new line for Kirkland’s, which debuted on August 17th, is no different.
The collection consists of 37 individual country-chic accessories. From serving dishes big enough to feed the whole family to champagne flutes fit for a celebration, this new line has everything you need to help make a house into a home.
Rae Dunn’s collection showcases ‘perfectly imperfect’ elements of the country kitchen aesthetic
On the collection and her inspiration behind it, Rae Dunn had this to say:
My art is a way for me to embrace the joyful, spontaneous elements of daily life. I don’t strive for perfection in line and form in my work. I love the beauty of things imperfect, impermanent and incomplete, and this collection tells that story through and through. I have expanded into decor with this collection, but the black and white, clean style is still the focal point.
You can see where some of the “perfectly imperfect” elements of this collection come in. It’s clear in the slanted, cursive print on each piece as well as the seemingly hand-drawn designs. One thing that’s far from imperfect about this collection? The price. All the pieces in this collection are under $40.
With prices like those, there’s no reason not to treat yourself.
